Main features of the SCANROC facade system
- Adaptation of steel grid installation elements to any thickness of outer wall insulation
- Installation also in difficult weather conditions and in winder
- Higher added value of the building, owing to appealing appearance
- Lower risk of facade work complaints
- Facade durability up to 100 years even in the locations with adverse weather
- Utmost fire resistance of the entire system
- Elimination of thermal dilatation effects of the building structure (particularly in prefab houses)
Installation grid system
SCANROC installation grid system elements are manufactured of galvanised steel.
The installation grid system has been designed for easy and quick installation.
All cladding joints are concealed, thus increasing facade aesthetics.
Easy installation
Installation of the SCANROC facade system can be carried out manually and is very easy: No wet processes needed, the installation can be made throughout the year, even in adverse weather or in winter.
SCANROC facade system does not require any preparation of the wall, such as surface smoothening, drying or cleaning.
SCANROC facade stones can be easily cut to measure which allows adjustment of the cladding components to required size.
In case of damage of individual SCANROC facade stones on the wall, their replacement can be made by a qualified specialist within minutes. The system has been intended and also certified for buildings up to 100 m in height.

MAXIMIZING THERMAL INSULATION EFFECTS
The elements of the SCANROC installation grid are made of galvanised steel.
Temperature difference between the air within the channel (higher temperature) and outside the channel (lower temperature) causes upward air flow. This air flow reduces the influence of temperature on the building wall and, at the same time, it removes humidity from the insulation and the walls. Humidity removal from the insulation maximises thermal insulation properties of the insulation material and maintains optimum temperature in the building.
Current humidity, diffusing through open structures, does not cause any problems in the SCANROC facades. Owing to temperature difference and vapour pressure, this humidity does not remain within the structure and comes into ventilated air gap from where it will be removed by flowing air.
The SCANROC system eliminates negative influence of temperature bridges on circumferential structures.
Ventilated SCANROC thermal insulation system (thermal insulation thickness 100 mm) reduces exterior noise by approximately 25 %.
